From this new office, the US company will support customers not only in the Iberian Peninsula but throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa so that they can manufacture in a more agile and sustainable way.
American company Rockwell Automation, the world's largest industrial automation and digital transformation corporation, inaugurated its new offices in Barcelona's 22@ district on May 25th in the presence of Albert Castellanos, Secretary of Business and Competitiveness of the Generalitat de Catalunya and CEO of ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment, and Rockwell Automation's EMEA President, Susana González.
The Rockwell Automation Catalonia team has already moved into the new 1.300 m2 offices. Also, it has a second office in Barcelona, located in the World Trade Center, where the team provides global industrial cybersecurity services.
For this project, Rockwell Automation was supported by ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment, the business competitiveness agency of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Albert Castellanos celebrated that Rockwell Automation has settled in the most technological district of Barcelona because it is "one of the leading companies in the automation sector worldwide, and its presence has a tractor effect for other companies, helping innovation to reach the entire Catalan business fabric".
For Castellanos, "Rockwell Automation's investment is another example of Catalonia's ability to attract the best talent and move towards deindustrialization.
Susana González mentioned: "We are very excited about the expansion and opening of our new office in Barcelona", said Susana Gonzalez. "Our development reflects the business growth in the country and region, as well as the cultural diversity of Rockwell Automation and the communities in which we operate, with 14 languages spoken by our team". González added, "From this office, which represents our company's vision for sustainability, we will support customers not only in the Iberian Peninsula but throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to help them become more agile and sustainable in their manufacturing operations".
José Paredes, General Manager of Rockwell Automation Spain, also explained that "Rockwell Automation needed a different space in Barcelona that would adapt to a more flexible business structure. This new space also houses the European digital sales and business development department: a team dedicated to improving the customer experience through personalized sales and service support".
The new offices in Barcelona include meeting rooms, videoconferencing, and also rooms for product demos, both software and hardware. These spaces align with Rockwell Automation's mission to make the world more productive and sustainable, training new generations in intelligent manufacturing and offering its customers personalized attention and value-added service.
