The American multinational Jabil to open a new technology centre and a new production plant in Catalonia

The United States became last year the second country in the world with most productive investment in Catalonia, with a figure reaching some 895 million euros. In total, there at present are 825 US subsidiary companies established in Catalonia, while Catalan exports into the US have shown constant growth over recent years. Specifically, in 2016, Catalan companies exported there to the value of 2,156 million euros, mainly in the areas of machinery and pharmaceutical products.
