Marina Bay Cruise Singapore, the new cruise terminal managed by Catalan firm Cruceros del Puerto de Barcelona along with local partner Singapore Airport Terminal Services, has just got operations underway.
In December the Catalan company was awarded a 10 year management contract, with an option to extend it for a further 5 year period following a tender issued by the Singapore Tourism Board.
At the same time, the giant goods terminal at the port of Barcelona, due to be officially opened in September, is already up and running. Chinese investment has enabled Barcelona to become Southern Europe’s leading gateway for goods from the Asian continent.
