Barcelona’s IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), the largest international event devoted to industry transformation through disruptive technologies, will celebrate its sixth edition in Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue from May 10th to 12th, 2022.

Under the theme Game-changing technologies for industry transformation, IOTSWC will unite the leading suppliers of industrial solutions and information technology providers to showcase the latest trends and promote collaboration in the tech solutions ecosystem.

IOTSWC has confirmed over 310 exhibiting companies including ABB, Altair, EMnify, Fiware, Hornet Security, Huawei, Kaspersky, RFPD, Relayr and Siemens.

All of them will showcase examples of how the Internet of Things, Artificial intelligence, Digital Twins, Blockchain and other technologies have the potential to transform entire companies and businesses.

The Internet of Things in Barcelona-Catalonia

According to the study Internet of Things (IoT) in Catalonia, there are 103 companies in the region offering products and services related to industrial IoT with a collective turnover of 215 million euros and 1,695 employees.

These companies are solution providers, software developers, hardware manufacturers, integrators and consultancies in an ecosystem that is composed both of start-ups and consolidated companies. Currently, there are 16 technological centers in Catalonia specializing in IoT industries.
