Bunge to invest eur 14 million to expand facilities

U.S. food group bunge plans to invest eur 13.7 million in its facilities at barcelona's port to double its production capacity. the company specializes in the processing of soybeans and sunflower seeds.
once the works are finished, bunge will have a 34,106-square-meter area between the contradique and oest wharfs. the company sees barcelona as a strategic place to grow in the spanish market. in 2008, bunge's spanish unit posted eur 2.319 billion in revenue.
