Sanofi Aventis to invest in Riells

The European pharma giant Sanofi Aventis is to invest €15m in its facility at Riells Viabrea. The plant employs 250 staff and last year boasted a product range of 30 medicaments, of which some 70% were for export. The firm has a further 700 employees in Barcelona.
