Moehs to create 150 jobs at new Castellbisbal pharma plant

Moehs, the US backed pharmaceutical firm, is to set up its third factory in Catalonia on a plot covering nearly 30,000 square metres on the industrial estate of “El Llobregat” in the town of Castellbisbal. The plant will dedicate production to producing active ingredients for a variety of medicaments.

The factory is due to generate an estimated 150 jobs and the workforce will be responsible for manufacturing the chemical raw material base, compounds such as; acetone, sodium bicarbonate, alcohol and methanol, used by pharma companies to make a host of products.
