Lukoil enlarges barcelona capacity

Lukoil subsidiary litasco, in conjunction with partner firm meroil, has increased storage capacity at its facility in the port of barcelona. the russian multinational now has a further 360 km3 available in the mediterranean region, one of the most strategic areas targeted by the eurasian oil firm for expansion. the new terminal, which can be used for both fuel oil and biofuel, will be fully operational by the middle of the coming year.
