The american multinational food sector firm fresh start bakeries, based in california and a key official supplier of mcdonald's, has invested a further €1.8 million in its plant in olesa de montserrat (barcelona). the operation has required the hiring of new staff, bringing the current workforce up to 55, whilst doubling its current business in catalonia.
among the major investments undertaken by fresh start bakeries is that of its new packaging systems to help improve the shelf-life of its products along with the building of a cleanroom.
