The US company Cosmo International Fragrances inaugurated a new, completely redesigned manufacturing plant in Granollers (Barcelona), expanding its activity and reaching more than 7,000 m2.
As part of the company’s strategic plan for 2024, Cosmo International Fragrances has invested 10 million euros in the factory to multiply by four its production capacity with a 75% automation rate.
All production, mixing, packaging, quality control, and shipping will take place in these new buildings. The new robotic compounding preparation system can use several dosing robots that work independently but simultaneously to increase productivity.
This investment will enable the fragrance house to meet the challenges linked to its growth and provide shorter delivery times, regardless of product type and the volumes ordered.
With this new buildings, Cosmo International Fragrances has respected environmental standards with measures that include a solar panel installation on the roof, charging stations for electric vehicles, a waste industrial water collection system, and a fragrant and sustainable garden that preserves the Catalonia region’s biodiversity.
