As part of the China Automotive Forum, the Minister of Business and Labour and the Director General of Industry of the Catalan Government gave a speech highlighting Catalonia's advantages and opportunities as a destination for new investments.

A Catalan Government delegation visited Chery’s R&D center in Shanghai to learn about their advanced technologies and strengthen relations before the Chinese company's landing in Catalonia.

The PRECISEU project will involve 25 partners from 12 European regions in 10 member states, along with one country associated with the Horizon Europe program (Ukraine).

The Minister for Business and Labour, accompanied by the Director General of Industry, will deliver a keynote speech at the China Automotive Forum, highlighting Catalonia's assets and opportunities as a destination for productive project deployments.

The new 5G network represents an investment of 3.6 million euros and has been designed to meet the needs of the increasingly automated port ecosystem.

The first phase of the project, called AQ-BCN1, is expected to be completed by 2025 and will provide 60 MW of computing power.

The global pharma is building a new production unit to increase its capacity for active pharmaceutical ingredients. The expansion will create around 100 new jobs in addition to the existing workforce of 370 professionals.

According to ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment's Innovation Barometer, Next Generation funds have accelerated the innovative activity of Catalan companies in 2023.
