
The US firm Jabil invests 4 million euros in expanding its operations in Catalonia

The multinational Jabil, dedicated to packaging services, will invest 4 million euros in L’Aldea (Catalonia) expanding its operations there.
The firm will increase its industrial activity in the Catalunya Sud Industrial Estate with 4,500 m2 of new production facilities and plans to create 50 new jobs in consumer product manufacturing and packaging services. Construction will start during the third quarter of 2022.
Jabil plans to produce a highly innovative product to be applied in a variety of sectors, such as food, beverage or cosmetics. For this new investment, Jabil received the support of ACCIÓ- Catalonia Trade & Investment.
The US multinational has 260,000 employees around the works, with production centres located in the factory in L’Aldea, for the production of paper packaging. With this second 4-million-euro investment its industrial production will be boosted even more.
