The technology company NTT Data inaugurated its new corporate headquarters in the 22@ district of Barcelona, with an area of 20,000m2 and a capacity for 2,500 professionals.
The Japanese IT service company has around 4,000 workers in the capital of Catalonia under a hybrid work model (60% remote and 40% face-to-face). Their forecast is to continue growing in Barcelona with 1,000 new jobs this 2023.
With this new office, NTT Data unifies the 11 locations it had until now in Barcelona, after being present in Catalonia for more than 25 years.
The president of the Government of Catalonia, Pere Aragonès, and the CEO of NTT Data in Spain, Sergi Biosca, attended the inauguration. Pere Aragonès visited the company's new facilities, which is among the top 10 worldwide. "Barcelona and Catalonia belong to the ecosystems of southern Europe with more prospects from a technological and digital point of view", he pointed out.
