the swiss esl locates its international headquarters in barcelona

the swiss multinational esl devoted to language learning has decided to locate its international headquarters in barcelona. from the catalan capital, esl will concentrate on-line marketing services, translation and international sales for the other offices the company has worldwide.

barcelona has been chosen because of its “cosmopolitan character” and its “attractiveness”, as the esl says. around 40 people are working in the new office, located in the center of the city, most of whom coming from switzerland. the relocation process started back in october.

these new headquarters and service office are added to the company’s spanish subsidiary, based in madrid, and its attention offices in valencia, bilbao and seville. esl has over 40 offices in 14 different markets in europe and overseas.
