
The European Investment Bank to hold its EIB Forum 2009 in Barcelona

The European Investment Bank (EIB) plans to hold its EIB Forum 2009 in Barcelona next March. This year's meeting, to be held on March 12th and 13th, focuses on funding an environmentally friendly transportation system in European cities under the name "Connecting Europe: mobility and financing of sustainable cities." The EIB Forum 2009 is also to address the challenges of investing in these areas in order to contribute to the development in the European Union.
