The catalan research and innovation plan to receive eur 50 million

The spanish ministry of science and technology will contribute eur 50 million to the catalan research and innovation plan to promote new r&d+i projects. the funds are in addition to the eur 78 million provided by the catalan government.
"we want to consolidate major r&d projects and promote new ideas within the infrastructure program," minister cristina garmendia said. a portion of the resources will go to projects like the alba synchrotron and new energy and biomedicine initiatives.
