Spanish airline spanair has decided to transfer from palma de mallorca to barcelona its registered domicile as part of the company’s latest reorganization. spanair's new owners iniciatives empresarials aeronàutiques wish to set up the new base of operations in the catalan capital while maintaining for a few years the majorcan base. next, according to press reports, is to find a suitable location for the new barcelona headquarters. the airline’s management team, headed by its chairman ferran soriano, is already working from barcelona. spanair has 3,161 employees.
