Saica to open a plant in sant esteve sesrovires

Spanish conglomerate saica plans to build a plant to manufacture cardboard boxes in sant esteve sesrovires (baix llobregat). the facility will be set up in the new can margarit industrial zone, in an area of 65 hectares.
the new plant is expected to create 500 jobs and be fully operational in 2012. saica has over 8,000 employees worldwide, with business units in spain, france, italy, portugal, united kingdom and ireland. revenue stands at eur 2 billion.
