Filmax to invest 16 million euros in new productions

Catalan film group Filmax plans to invest 16 million euros in new film and television projects. The company is already working on the production of three films: The Way, to be directed by American actor Emilio Estevez and will feature his father, actor Martin Sheen; Snowflake, the story of the late Floquet de neu, Barcelona zoo’s rare albino gorilla; and Exorcismus, a new horror movie wishing to repeat the success of Filmax hits Rec and Rec II.
Filmax also prepares a children's show for Catalan network TV3 and Valencia's Channel 9.
