
Catalonia's ACCIÓ to participate in Ysios Biofund

The catalan government has announced a eur 2 million contribution to participate in ysios biofund, a leading venture capital fund specializing in biotechnology. the investment will be made through acc1ó, an agency within the ministry of innovation, universities and enterprise. the fund will also receive an additional eur 3-million contribution from catalonia's finance institute (icf).
ysios biofund was launched by venture capital firm ysios capital partners, with a total size of eur 67 million in investments. companies participating in ysios biofund include telefonica's pension funds, basque bank kutxa, banco santander and la caixa.
