The Catalan Government has signed an agreement with local public universities to promote the brand "Universitat de Catalunya" abroad. The initiative aims to join efforts to present a common policy for the internationalization of Catalan universities, emphasizing their excellence and quality.
"Our idea is to choose the best from each institution," Catalan Minister Josep Huguet said. The Catalan government is also working on a new “tech map” to integrate the country's seven technological poles so that they can be more competitive in international markets.
