Catalonia launches a national research plan; emphasis on innovation

The catalan government has presented the new research plan 2010-2013 (pri) aimed at promoting innovation projects for businesses. according to catalan minister josep huguet, the new pri will have three areas of activity: small and medium-sized companies, internationalization and services. the pri also includes 17 strategic areas for research at university level.
the pri has been developed by the catalan ministry of universities, innovation and enterprise, headed by minister huguet.
