Catalan company aero engineering presented at the expo shanghai 2010 a next-generation engine that allows a plane to fly through a cloud of ash or a sand storm. the firm specializes in the development of turbines for the aerospace industry.
aero engineering is in china as part of a catalan delegation of about 50 companies invited to participate in a business mission headed by catalan minister for innovation, universities and enterprise josep huguet. aero engineering also held several meetings with local businessmen and chinese authorities.
