Brightpoint opens a new shared services center in barcelona

Outsourcing american company brightpoint has opened a new shared services center (ssc) in barcelona to strengthen its european operations. the new center will centralize certain business support (or back office) functions to be shared across all of its properties in the region.

 brightpoint's services include distribution, channel development, fulfillment, product customization, e-business solutions, and other outsourced services. stephen babbage has been appointed as director of the new barcelona ssc.
