boehringer creates a service centre for regulatory affairs

boehringer ingelheim reinforces its headquarters in sant cugat del vallés, barcelona. in 2016, the german pharmaceutical firm will open a service centre for regulatory affairs that will provide support to the multinational’s main department in ingelheim, germany.
this new division, which will entails the creation of eight jobs, will be in charge of managing the company’s mature products. among its different tasks will be the renewal process, sales authorization requests and new clinical trials petitions.
the company declares that this new department reinforces its spanish headquarters, which it defines as being highly strategic given the recruitment of talent and its effectiveness in offering competitive services. this new department joins the company’s recently opened worldwide information technology centre in sant cugat del vallés, which began operations in september 2014, and today employs 100 people.
