Barcelona, one of europe's best cities for business 2009

Barcelona has once again secured a place among europe's leading cities for business, a cushman & wakefield report said. according to european cities monitor 2009, the catalan capital is now the fourth most attractive european capital for locating business headquarters. london, paris and frankfurt lead the european ranking, with madrid moving up one position to sixth place.
cushman analyst oriol barrachina stresses that the catalan capital continues to be number one in quality of life and ranks fifth in availability of commercial space. this year, the city has also benefited from lower prices in the office rental market, he added.
the survey is conducted each year and it involves interviews with about 500 top-level managers from large companies in nine european countries.
