Barcelona is the 28th most talented city in the world, according to the 2020 Global Talent Competitiveness Index elaborated by Adecco, Insead Business School and Google. The Catalan capital climbs 21 places and gets 55.8 points, 8.7% more than the previous year. This list evaluates 155 cities worldwide and was presented recently in the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland).
The global cities ranking evaluates 5 issues: talent and competitiveness enablement, attraction, growth, retention and building of global knowledge. This year, a new chapter named ‘Global Talent in the Era of Artificial Intelligence’ examines variables such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption, investment in emerging technologies and use of AI.
