A group of approximately thirty, internationally renowned doctors have set up bima – a centre of surgical and cardiological innovation.
the idea of this forum, according to its founders, is to foment “excellence of both public and private healthcare services between professionals and overseas patients. “ to give an example, one of those behind the initiative, dr. de lacy commented that, “within a short time we must try and achieve what the mayo and anderson clinics in houston have managed to over a number of years.” however, unlike these medical centres the group does not intend to promote individual medical facilities, but, “create a much more modern concept: by that we mean promoting a number of establishments and above all, a group of top professionals working within them.”
