Toyota's logistics division will create 300 jobs at its new center in Catalonia

Toyota Material Handling Spain, the logistics subsidiary of the Japanese automotive company, has laid the foundation stone for its new headquarters in Sabadell (Barcelona).
Toyota Material Handling Spain, the logistics subsidiary of the Japanese automotive company, has laid the foundation stone for its new headquarters in Sabadell (Barcelona). The general manager of Toyota Material Handling Spain, Joan Catalan, attended the event.
The new center will be a reality in 2024. It will consist of 16,500 m2, within a plot of 37,247 m2. A total of 225 professionals will work there, in addition to nearly 290 professionals associated with this work center.
The new center will represent a qualitative leap for the company, which specializes in sales and rental of counterbalanced trucks, allowing it to provide better service and customer care and contributing to progress in its commitment to achieving zero emissions in its operations.
In this sense, the headquarters has been designed with technologies and systems to be as efficient as possible and with the will to reduce its carbon footprint.
The general manager of Toyota Material Handling Spain, Joan Catalan, said: "We are delighted to start our new adventure in Sabadell. We have chosen this efficient and modern location because it is comfortable for the team".
This warehouse will incorporate distribution, commercialization, and after-sales service activities for industrial machinery. It will also carry out activities specific to each of the company's business units: rental, after-sales service, financial services, lean services, automation projects, energy, and sustainability.
