Originally Dutch and now part of a European group, Solo Midocean is to open a logistics hub in Bràfim (Tarragona) to be operational in the second quarter of 2026.
Solo Midocean (Solo), a leading producer and distributor of personalized promotional products, is expanding its operations by developing a new logistics hub in Bràfim, Tarragona.
This investment supports Solo's continued growth and is expected to create more than 250 jobs in Tarragona.
The 28,000 sqm Build-to-Suit (BTS) facility will become Solo's new Spanish premises and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2026. Located in Catalonia's second logistics ring, the site offers strategic access to the AP-2 highway, enhancing Solo's national distribution capabilities. The project is being developed by Logicor, a major owner, manager, and developer of logistics real estate in Europe.

A ceremony was held to mark the beginning of construction, with Xavier Rius, Mayor of Bràfim; Mohammed Mohammed, General Manager at Solo; and Pilar Valencia, Country Manager for Spain at Logicor, presenting the project to local authorities and national media.
Mohammed Mohammed, General Manager at Solo, highlighted, "This facility, set to begin operations in 2026, represents not just an investment in infrastructure but a profound commitment to the people of Catalonia. We are thrilled to announce that we will start by employing 250 talented individuals in 2026."
He also added: "The facility will specialize in textile imprints, utilizing customer-preferred techniques such as screen printing, transfer printing, and embroidery. As we break ground today, we are planting the seeds for a future that holds immense promise for the entire Bràfim community in Tarragona. Together, we will grow, innovate, and lead the way forward."
Pilar Valencia, Logicor's Country Manager for Spain, said, "Catalonia is one of our strategic locations for 2025. It registered a record logistics take-up of over 710,000 sqm in 2024, significantly higher than the average for the last decade. We are delighted to support Solo with this pioneering project, which will transform Bràfim's logistics business in favor of the local economy. This would not have been possible without the local council's collaboration and Solo's commitment."
She continued, "Thanks to the excellent coordination between the various technical teams involved and our in-depth understanding of our clients' needs, we are developing a building that is fully Industry 4.0 adapted and will accommodate high-added-value activities with a tangible impact on the regional economy."
