Rosa Clarà group set to grow 7% announces new headquarters for expansion

The grupo rosa clará, luxury wedding and party attire specialist is set to grow by 7% this year increasing turnover to €76 million, according to its creator in an interview with efe. she also announced that the firm would be opening a new headquarters to boost its international operations.
the company has agreed terms on the purchase of a corporate headquarters in sant just desvern (barcelona), which will require an outlay of €8 million. the new building will double the size of the head office from the current 5,000m2 to 10,000m2. talking on the subject of the group’s growth at a moment of economic recession, ms. clará justified the decision to choose to expand saying, “this step has been possible thanks to the backing the firm has given to overseas operations, which now account for nearly half of total sales.”
rosa clará went on to add in her own words that growth had also been “accompanied by a rise in the workforce,” now at 154, aided by a further 800 indirect jobs that rely on work from the firm, which is now the world’s leading wedding fashion company.
at present, the grupo rosa clará is selling its products through some 2,200 multi-brand outlets in 60 countries, in addition to the 105 exclusive boutiques it runs. the firm is planning on opening a further 6 before the end of the year and no less than 10 shops in 2012.
