Norwegian company Adevinta opens international headquarters in Barcelona with some 1,000 employees

Norwegian digital company Adevinta has established its new international headquarters in Barcelona’s 22@ district. These offices, of about 12.000sqm2, accommodate some 1,000 employees, 34% of the company’s global staff. Adevinta expects to increase its headcount in the Catalan capital by 15% until the end of the year.
According to the CEO of Adevinta, Rolv Erik Ryssdal, Barcelona offers “a strategic location and a relevant technological hub that attracts talent from all over Europe”. This 2019, the company has unified its 5 previous offices in this new location in Barcelona, thus increasing its office space by 20%.
Adevinta owns brands like Fotocasa, Habitaclia, InfoJobs, Coches.net and Milanuncios that gather together over 1.5 billion visits per year in the 16 countries they are present in. In 2018, the company had a global turnover of 644 million euros. The multinational company invests 3 million euros annually in R+D.
