Catalonia Trade & Investment, together with the Barcelona City Council, is jointly promoting the participation of these startups at the Web Summit in Lisbon, SWITCH in Singapore, and Slush in Helsinki.

Catalonia Trade & Investment and the Barcelona City Council, through the International Economic Promotion Directorate and Barcelona Activa, are supporting the participation of around 40 Catalan startups at three major global technology conferences.

These are SWITCH, taking place this week in Singapore; the Web Summit in Lisbon (November 11-14); and Slush in Helsinki (November 20-21), where Catalan companies will be represented for the first time.

The initiative is part of the "Barcelona-Catalonia Startup Ecosystem" program, jointly promoted by the Government of Catalonia and the City Council, aimed at strengthening international connections for Catalan startups and attracting startups, scaleups, and unicorns from around the globe to establish operations in Catalonia. This effort supports Barcelona and Catalonia’s positioning as a leading startup hub in Europe

Participating Catalan startups will showcase their technological solutions at these three international conferences in a shared stand hosted by the Government and Barcelona City Council.

In addition, the startups will have a complementary schedule of activities outside the main exhibitions, including networking sessions and meetings with companies in the tech ecosystem and potential international collaborators. At the SWITCH fair in Singapore, Catalonia Trade & Investment's External Trade and Investment Office in Singapore has also arranged a personalized agenda for each Catalan startup.
