K+N to enter the Spanish market from Barcelona

Swiss company Kuehne+Nagel (K+N) has set up operations in Barcelona’s logistics activities area (ZAL) to strengthen its activity in the Catalan market. The new facility will serve as a transshipment platform for international transport as well as storage for its logistics customers.
The 16,000-square-meter platform boasts 54 loading and unloading areas and will employ 180 workers. "This new platform will allow us to expand our logistics and enhance our service capabilities in the area of Barcelona," K + N Spain director Miguel Ambielle said.
