FM Logistic expanding operations in Valls

The french multinational fm logistic has increased warehousing space in its facility in valls (near tarragona) by 6,000m2. in this area of catalonia, fm logistic has been responsible for managing both distribution points for ikea’s entire iberian peninsula operation, occupying a total of 180,000m2 since taking on the role of logistics for the swedish multinational last year.
fm logistic currently employs a workforce of 760 and manages over 300,000m2 of storage and warehousing space in spain. the firm hopes to achieve a turnover in excess of €30m for the current financial year, which would mean a rise of 20% on last year’s figures. other clients this french logistics specialist works for include: norauto, brother, kellogg’s, michelin and st.gobain, among others.
