
Catalonia to provide eur 35 billion for industrial projects

The catalan government has approved a new industrial plan for the period 2010-2020, with investments in excess of eur 35 billion. catalan minister josep huguet said average annual budget will be about eur 3 billion for the period 2011-15 and eur 4 billion for 2015-2020.
the plan, which aims to transform this important sector of the catalan economy, has set five main goals for the period 2010-2015: industrial growth, productivity, r&d investments, patents and exports.
