Spanish gaming group cirsa is to invest eur 15 million at its two r&d centers in terrassa (barcelona). with a team of 166 engineers, the centers will now focus on the development of new gaming and leisure machines, online lottery and electronic bingo systems.
last year, cirsa manufactured over 41,000 units (slot machines), reaching a market share of 53% in spain. the company operates in over 70 countries and last year posted revenue of eur 1.7 billion. cirsa recently opened a third casino in rosario, argentina, with an investment of eur 207 million.
