The swiss company helveting opens in barcelona its first development center outside its home country

The swiss company helveting engineering ag has opened in the 22@ district of barcelona its first development center outside the central european country. the new catalan company initially serves the swiss sister company and beyond is expected to offer its services directly to customers in spain.
in the process of opening the new development center at 22@, helveting has received the support of catalonia trade&investment, the area of attracting foreign investment of acció, the agency for the competitiveness of the business of the catalan government. the company initially hires local software engineers. "we are looking for highly qualified staff from other engineering disciplines to incorporate them in a second phase," says dr. daniel hoesli, managing director of helveting international (spain) s.l. "we intend to further extend the scope of engineering services of the center we have in 22 @ barcelona”.
the helveting companies closed 2014 with a turnover of eur 18m and plans to achieve eur 20m million in 2015. the swiss company is dedicated to cross engineering and project implementation for its customers in the fields of mechanical, software and systems engineering as well as technical and business process consulting. helveting has a staff of 120 engineers who are located in the headquarters in hünenberg, and in the swiss engineering centers in berne, neuenhof and uzwil and in the representative office in shanghai.
