Infor expands in Barcelona with new 22@ offices, reinforcing Catalonia’s role as a European hub for cloud innovation, talent, and digital transformation.
The American technological company Infor has inaugurated its new offices in the 22@ district of Barcelona this Wednesday. The company, dedicated to providing industry-specific cloud software solutions to other companies, positions Catalonia, where it was established in 2013, as one of the group's primary locations in Europe, with approximately 300 employees.
For the establishment and consolidation of Infor in Catalonia, the company has had the support of ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment, the agency for business competitiveness of the Ministry of Business and Labour of the Government of Catalonia.

The inauguration ceremony of the new offices, located in the Urbit complex in the Poblenou neighborhood, in the 22@ district, was attended by the company's global CEO, Kevin Samuelson, the executive director of ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment, Joan Romero, and the 4th deputy mayor of the Barcelona City Council, Jordi Valls.
Joan Romero highlighted, "the relationship between ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment and Infor is an example of the benefits of long-term collaboration, since the company established itself in Catalonia more than a decade ago. It demonstrates that the government's goal is not only to attract foreign investment, but to consolidate all these projects and help them grow in Catalonia."
According to Samuelson, "Talent Hub locations like Barcelona serve as a 'whiteboard' where collaboration ignites innovation, turning ideas into value for our customers," he said. "This office embodies that spirit and supports our vision of 'One Infor'—fostering a culture of community, engagement, and operational excellence. Infor's strong presence in Europe, particularly through our growing location in Barcelona, underscores our unwavering commitment to serving our customers regionally with agility and expertise", Samuelson concludes.
Miquel Rodríguez, the Manager of Economic Promotion for the Barcelona City Council, stated that "the opening of Infor's new offices in Barcelona highlights the strong health of the tech sector in the city, a result of the city council's firm commitment to promoting and encouraging the establishment of technology companies in the city, which are capable of offering quality jobs while also generating and retaining local talent. And this is in the 22@ district, which is consolidating as a leading technology hub in Europe, and where high-level creative and technology industries are concentrated."
The new Infor offices in Barcelona span almost 2,500 square meters and feature sustainability certifications, including LEED Platinum, WELL Platinum, or Wired Score. The space also includes areas designed for the well-being of workers, such as an auditorium, a gym, and game rooms.
The nearly 300 Infor employees in Barcelona represent 10% of the company's total in Europe. The company belongs to the Koch group, which, through Infor, concentrates 40% of its employees in Spain in Barcelona.
