Taurus acquires a 75% stake in talleres casals

Household appliance manufacturer taurus has acquired the power tool division of ripoll-based talleres casals. taurus will now use its extensive sales network to create new international opportunities for casals in order to compete against industry leaders black & decker and bosch.

taurus group is a leader in the small household appliance market, with revenue in excess of eur 200 million. the company has a solid presence in 65 countries and it is currently working on the development of proprietary products.
