Pharmaceutical company synthon hispania is to invest eur 8 million at its sant boi plant to increase production capacity by 80%. the company will reinforce its capsules business line so it can produce up to 1 billion units per year. the new production line will be operational by early 2010.
synthon, which specializes in the manufacturing of generic drugs, has annual revenue of eur 75 million and employs 250 workers. the project has received the support of invest in catalonia-acc1ó.
