SiteMinder opens a new office in Barcelona to bolster support for European hotels

Barcelona is the company's chosen location for its ninth office worldwide, joining Sydney, London, Bangalore, Bangkok, Berlin, Dallas, Galway, and Manila.
Australia-based company SiteMinder, one of the world's leading open hotel commerce platforms, has opened a new office in Barcelona. The new Barcelona facility joins SiteMinder's other international offices in Bangalore, Bangkok, Berlin, Dallas, Galway, London, Manila, and Sydney. It will primarily support the company's European sales, support, and onboarding functions.
The company will create more than 60 new job positions that will be based in Barcelona or work remotely throughout the rest of Spain. The travel sector in Spain continues to experience strong demand, with local hotels receiving nearly 115 percent of the booking volume received for the same period in 2019, according to SiteMinder's World Hotel Index—over 75 percent of booked stays come during the summer months.
