Beverage group orangina schwepps has announced that it is moving to barcelona some of its business areas, including the r+d activities and the corporate development department. the company also indicated that current ceo luis bach, who joined the company last year, is also moving to the catalan capital along with the group's technical and marketing directors. “from now on, we will have to strong poles of decision to be closer to our markets,” ceo luis bach said. barcelona will also be the center for the new international expansion, mr. bach added.
orangina is the world's third beverage group. in spain, it distributes schwepps, la casera, pulco and trina brands. last year, its revenue in spain reached 1.02 billion euros, up 8%.
