Sada to invest eur 20 million in lleida

Food group sada plans to invest eur 20 million to expand its facilities in lleida over the next two years. the company, which specializes in poultry processing, is to build a new 10,000-square-meter plant to increase production to 140,000 units daily.
the plant is part of sada's program to cover the needs of mercadona's new plant in abrera (barcelona), expected to open in 2013. sada works currently some 180 poultry farms in catalonia and aragon. last year, the group posted sales of eur 84.5 million, with a workforce of 417 employees.
