Mezzo, which opened in barcelona last year with support from invest in barcelona, provides customer service for companies in six languages. it opened with 10 employees, a figure that todays grown to 80 employees in the catalan capital. prospects for this call-centre are good: it is expected to be the group’s fastest growing office and to eventually employ some 150 workers.
out of its 1150m2 premises, the company provides call-centre service for european companies in six languages: spanish, french, english, italian, german and flemish, via telephone, email and social networks. it works with firms from various sectors such as communications, ecommerce and finance, among others.
in the words of mezzo’s commercial director, franck diego, they chose barcelona to open their customer call-centre "due to the fact that it is easy to recruit professionals who speak the languages we work in, the speed of connections with france and especially because it is a very european city, a symbol of modernity and innovation".
the company, founded in 2004, has a total of 1000 employees in its offices in catalonia, france and tunisia.
