Catalan firm Madel has invested EUR 3.5 million in a new 3,600-square-meter plant in Centelles. The company specializes in the manufacture of grilles for residential air ventilation systems, but has recently expanded into the industrial sector with notable success.
Madel's emphasis is on the design of its products so that they are not only functional but also part of the decoration. Last year, the company posted revenue of EUR 11.3 million, with 150 employees. "Our goal is to grow 10% to 15% in the next two years," its owners and managers said.
