Japanese pharmaceutical company takeda aims at strengthening its position in spain with the creation of a new subsidiary in barcelona. the japanese group will initially market its drugs for hypertension and diabetes. in the coming months, takeda also plans to launch a new treatment for osteosarcoma, which will represent a significant development in the field of cancer treatments in spain.
takeda is the largest pharmaceutical company in japan and one of the world's 20 largest pharmaceutical companies. its european operations include germany, switzerland, austria, france, britain, italy and spain. catalan agency acc1ó and its invest in catalonia unit offered advise throughout the operation.
