Imira to produce cartoon series in partnership with disney

Catalan entertainment and production company imira is preparing two new animated series in collaboration with multinational group disney. imira and other producers have already invested eur 11 million to develop the market. new projects with disney include "lucky fred", a eur 5.5-million animated film to be produced in conjunction with american tv channel nickelodeon, participating with a eur 2-million investment. nickelodeon will also distribute the film in the united states, asia and europe. imira's second project is "myo&ga", a series with a budget of eur 5.7 million.
imira had its first success with "lola & virginia", a series co-produced in association with french, catalan and basque public tv channels, and french production company millimages.
