IESE and ESADE, both located in Barcelona, are in the top 15 of the best business schools in Europe, according to a ranking elaborated by Financial Times. IESE is placed in the 6th position and ESADE is placed in the 13th position in the global ranking.
The ranking of the British publication averages the results obtained by the main European business schools in four partial rankings: MBA programs, Executive MBA, Masters in Management and Executive Education programs, also published this year by Financial Times. In this sense, IESE is placed in the 3rd position in two of these partial rankings: MBA programs and Executive Education programs. On the other hand, ESADE is placed in the 7th position in the same two classifications. Therefore, IESE and ESADE are both in the ‘top 10’ in three of the four fields analyzed.
Another of the business schools located in Barcelona, EADA Business School, is also ranked in this classification. EADA has improved one position and this year is placed at number 28, coinciding with the inauguration of its remodeled Barcelona campus, in which it has invested over 8 million euros.
The global ranking evaluates criteria such as the level of internationalization of business schools and the projection of their programs, the professional and salary progression of graduates, the fulfillment of expectations or the research level, among others.
