FGC to invest eur 17 million in terrassa

Catalan railway company fgc plans to invest eur 17 million in terrassa in order to expand and modernize the city’s railway network. the project includes four additional miles of track and the construction of a new intermodal train station connecting with spanish train operator renfe.
fgc will also add 44 new trains and a new signaling system, which will increase the frequency of the service. "the goal is for terrassa to have a service frequency similar to a regular subway line," fgc officials explained.
